Abstract
This paper investigating the relationship between the proof of Utumi’s Theorem that a ring R (with identity) is self-injective if and only if the matrix ring (for a fixed) is self-injective. Throughout this proof, for convenience, we denote the matrix ringby and the matrix units inby instead of customary.
