Inpainting of Images Via Formation of Patterns

Abstract

In this paper, we introduce a novel image inpainting technique for reconstructing damaged or missing image regions. The method relies on pattern formation, specifically searching for predefined patterns that originate from damaged or lost pixels. Subsequently, these pixels are reconstructed by filling them with colors derived from the observed patterns.‎
