Main Article Content
Abstract
this study aims to identify the legal impact of e-commerce and the factors affecting its adoption from the perspective of sellers in Jordan. A questionnaire consisting of 15 questions was distributed among vendors in Amman for data collection. The data were analyzed using SPSS to test the hypotheses. The results show that there are significant differences among Jordanians when it comes to conducting electronic business transactions. The study found that some Jordanians have never conducted electronic commerce transactions, despite using the Internet for entertainment, while others use it to conduct their transactions electronically. The study recommends that Jordan focus on information technologies and learn from other countries' experiences, such as Malaysia's. Additionally, Jordan should encourage research and education in e-commerce, expand and improve Internet access, and encourage businessmen to use the Internet to promote their products. This study also aimed to demonstrate the impact of information and communication technology in activating electronic commerce as one of the most important modern methods adopted by countries in supporting their economy and improving business operations.
