Abstract

This paper summarizes the important results regarding the thermophysical properties of nanofluids consisting Magnesium Oxide nanoparticles. The influence of important parameters like metaloxide quantity, base fluid type, temperature, and additives will be considered. There are manyreports on the influence of parameters

on thermal properties and the literature in this field is widespread. This project aims at finding the thermal conductivity of MgO nanofluid with three different base fluids such as distilled water, ethylene glycol, and engine oil and to propose the quantity of MgO and the type of base fluid that have better properties. This project also emphasizes on the applications of nanofluids in industries and other major sectors.
