Honeypot for Securing Networking Devices

Abstract

Abstract: Today's society needs security because of the increasing risks and cybercrimes. The security and stability of our home networks must be given top priority in the ever changing world of the internet today. The Internet of Things (IoT) has transformed simple networks into increasingly intricate systems, raising the possibility of threats and vulnerabilities. In order to efficiently filter out harmful traffic and keep an eye out for threats, this paper proposes a comprehensive defense system that consists of an Intrusion Detection System (IDS), a decoy honeypot server, and a packet analyzer.
