An Analytical study of the children's science fiction novel 'Electronik Namor Lorato'

Abstract

Assamese science fiction literature began in the twentieth century. Science fiction literature has been published and expanded in the form of stories, novels and plays an important role in Assamese literature. There are many science fiction writers in Assamese literature, including Sourav Kumar Chaliha, Ranju Hazarika, Bandita Fukan, Dinesh Chandra Goswami, Laxminanda Bora and others. There are also various science fiction literatures written in Assamese literature suitable for children. Among such writers are Shantanu Tamuli and Bandita Fukan. ‘Electronik Namor Lorato’ is a translated science fiction novel by Shantanoo Tamuly. The novel revolves around a robot named Electronik. In order to do this, the author describes various aspects of the robot manufacturing process, its power source, capabilities and so on. It is an excellent science fiction novel suitable for children.
