Design and Simulation of Archimedean Spiral Antenna for Radiometric Measurement in Medical Application
Main Article Content
Abstract
Antennas have become popular in applications, for their small size sleek design and wide bandwidth. It is convenient to manufacture for making suitable for large scale application. The flexible device used in implants operates at a frequency of 2.7 GHz. The design features eight turns of copper on a substrate at 3.2 with a thickness of 3 mm. The devicemeasurement are 36mm x 28 mm. Softwareoutput confirm the device has a frequency at 2.7 GHz. The receiving device exhibits 3.5dBigain and an impressive efficient of 90%. The directional model provides heat to the specific area while its compact size ensures integration, into the implant device. The radiation pattern of the antenna is directive having its highest parameter. The directivity characteristic allows the antenna to focus heat into tissue around it while its small size ensures it integrates easily with other part.
