Abstract

This paper investigates the structural, morphological, and vibrational characteristics of sol-gel auto-combustion Bi1-xBaxFe2O3 (x = 0.00, 0.05, 0.1, 0.15, 0.2, and 0.25)  multiferroics.  Characterization of the synthesized samples was accomplished using X-ray diffraction (XRD), field emission scanning electron microscopy (FESEM) and Fourier-transform infrared spectroscopy (FTIR). They have a rhombohedral structure with the R3c space group. FESEM experiments showed the nanocrystalline nature of prepared materials. The Fe-O bond vibrations of about 450–465 and 560–582 cm-1 are seen in the FTIR spectra.
