A Study on Customer Usage Intention Towards EV Charging Facilities in Surat City.

Abstract
In the Surat city, people are moving towards usage of Electric Vehicles (EVs). EV Charging Infrastructure is become necessary to facilitate the adoption of EV. The government made many EV charging station (CS) in the different zone of Surat city. In this paper we identify the awareness, perception, and their willingness to use EV charging station. Our analysis is based on 170 respondent of Surat city. In data analysis we use chi-square test, factor analysis and regression analysis. We bifurcate the variable with the help of factor analysis. The four factors like CS Identity, CS Facility, CS Technology and CS Economic are identified. We also identify the relationship with each independent factors with willingness to charge their vehicle at charging station.
